Mary Mara, the actress best known for her roles in "ER" and "Ray Donovan," has died

Mary Mara manager Craig Dorfman told news in a statement. She was 61 years old.

Dorfman said ''Mary is one of the best actresses I have ever met," and  "I still remember seeing Mary Mara on stage in 'Mad Forest' off-Broadway in 1992. 

Mary Mara was attractive, funny, and genuine. Everyone loved her. She will be missed."

According to a press release from New York State Police, officers responded to a call Sunday around 8:10 a.m. local time for "possible drowning." 

Soldiers and Cape Vincent firefighters and ambulances arrived at the scene and "found a dead woman in the St. Lawrence River," the publication said.

As per the primary investigation by the police, Actress Mary Mara has drowned in the swimming pool while swimming, and breath last. 

Mara has a list of credits spanning television and film, including multi-episode roles in shows like "Dexter," "The Practice" and "Star Trek: Enterprise." 

Mary Mara is arguably the most recognized for her roles in "Ray Donovan" ,"Nash Bridges," & "ER" movies.

Mara's film credits include "Mr. Saturday Night" and "Love Potion # 9". Mary Mara the last appearance was in the 2020 movie "Break Even".
